Consul to Benin sends greetings to Head of State

The Equatorial Guinea Consul General to Benin, Leandro Ebang Miko Angue, has sent a message of congratulations to the President, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, in commemoration of the Freedom Coup on 3rd August. The entire contents are published below.

To H. E. President of the Republic, Head of State and of the Government, President Founder of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces and State Security, Captain General Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

Excellency:

To commemorate the day that marked the end of the anxious 11 years following national independence, in which the then Lieutenant Colonel of the Armed Forces placed his life and that of his entire family on the line in order to save the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, and thanks to that date we are a prestigious country, the collective of students who are studying in Benin, the body of personnel at this Embassy, and my family, join with me in congratulating H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the Armed Forces and State Security and the noble people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, for this very significant day.

I ask Almighty God that both the life of His Excellency and that of his distinguished family be forever in the protection of the Holy Spirit of the Living God, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
