Equatorial Guinea takes part in Forum on Peace and Human Rights in Dominican Republic

The delegation led by the Third Vice Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Human Rights, Alfonso Nsue Mokuy, with the Director General for Human Rights, Manuel Mba Nchema, arrived on 20th July in the Dominican Republic, to take part in the Conference on World Peace and Human Rights, and were received by the Chancellor Miguel Vargas.

During the meeting, the two spoke of the desire to extend cooperation between the two countries, to initiate ties regarding Human Rights, the strengthening of peace, and areas relating to agriculture and derivatives.

In the late afternoon, Nsue Mokuy and his colleagues made a courtesy visit to the Presidential Palace of the Dominican Republic, and the audience may be confirmed shortly.

In addition to the forum, Nsue Mokuy will present to the Ibero-American press the developments from the VI Ordinary National Congress of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), together with its resolutions and institutional declarations, emphasising the harassment and subversion that Equatorial Guinea is being subjected to by institutions related to the Government of the French Republic.
