Equatorial Guinea will be at the XI edition of the Pan-African Festival of Music (FESPAM), which is taking place from 19th to 21st of July in Congo Brazzaville, with the participation of a group of musicians.
Before travelling this Monday, our participating artists met the Minister for Culture and Craft Promotion, Rufino Ndong Esono Nchama, on 14th July, to look at the strengthening of cultural relations between the countries, and promote the image of Equatorial Guinea abroad.
Just like two years ago, the tens of thousands of people who will attend the XI edition will hear the best of traditional and modern music from the African continent, in which the participation of artists from the African diaspora is also expected.
During the three days of the festival there will be musical shows, permanent exhibitions of musical instruments, training workshops, the election of Miss FESPAM, and other tourist activities.
As in the 2015 edition, the artists will possible be received by the Head of State in Congo, H. E. Denis Sassou-Nguesso.
