Minister for Culture and Craft Promotion receives Guinea Conakry Ambassador

On 11th August, the Minister for Culture and Craft Promotion, Rufino Ndong Esono Nchama, received the Ambassador from the Republic of Guinea Conakry, Seikhou Amadou Tiany Doumbouya, in order to continue to strengthen the relations between the ministry and the diplomatic mission.

The ambassador Tiany Doumbouya went to the ministerial department for the second time in order to pass on to the minister for Culture the invitation issued by his Guinea counterpart to pay an official visit to Guinea Conakry, expected at the beginning of September.

The aim is to sign various protocols of understanding regarding the training of national artists, above all the promotion of musical matters, in order that our country has an all-female orchestra.

Among other issues covered, the ambassador expressed the interest of the Guinea Conakry women’s orchestra in doing a musical tour in Equatoguinean territory, in the month of October this year.

The minister Esono Nchama, in his speech, highlighted that fact that the training of young Equatoguineans in cultural matters is one of the priorities at the ministry, with the aim of providing our country with professionals in this area.
