President and First Lady, guests of honour at a civil wedding in Djibloho

Inocencio Ngomo Obiang and Cristina Avomo Oyana had a civil wedding on 22nd July, at the Grand Hotel Djibloho. The presidential couple attended the ceremony.

Numerous family members, friends and acquaintances surrounded the young newly-weds at the ceremony which took place at the Grand Hotel, in Djibloho.

Following the reading of various articles from the Constitution and the African Charter on Human Rights and Non-discrimination against Women, Ngomo Obiang de Akoakam Esangui, Mongomo, and Avomo Oyana de Adjalon Anvom, Evinayong, said I do, symbolically exchanged various gifts, and signed the wedding certificates.

Investigation Court Number 1 Judge from Bata, after completing the formalities for the ceremony, declared them husband and wife, and they then received the warmth and applause of those present. After that, the presidential couple and the main guests gave presents to the newly-weds.

The photo session for the whole family was one of the most moving moments of the party.
