President receives Ambassador from People’s Republic of China

A delegation from the People’s Republic of China, led by the accredited Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador to our country, Zhao Hong Sheng, and including the consul resident in Bata, the representative of the company China Dalian, and various other figures, went to the Palacio Golf Club in Mongomo, to have the meeting with H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, on 24th July.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the People’s Republic of China, established on 15th October 1970, have been further consolidated by the development of a policy of continuous strengthening, with fruitful substantial exchanges in various areas. Contacts between the governments of the two republics, their parliaments and political parties have multiplied, on order to achieve good governance and mutual administration. The attainment of these objectives has allowed the Asian giant to become one of the main partners in the development of our country.

In this context, on 24th July, a delegation from the People’s Republic of China went to the Palacio Golf Club in Mongomo, to have a meeting with H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

Leading the entourage was the accredited Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador to our country, Zhao Hong Sheng, the consul resident in Bata, representing the company China Dalian, and various other figures.

Juan Antonio Bibang Nchuchuma, Deputy Minister Charged with Foreign Security to the Head of State, was the member of the Government who assisted the leader of the nation.

Congratulations to the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea on their election as non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, the strengthening in some aspects relating to the diplomatic relations uniting Malabo and Beijing, and the recent visit by the Vice-President of the Republic to the Asian country were some of the matters covered at the audience.
