President receives delegation from South Sudan

On 30th June, following the Ministerial Council, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted an audience to a delegation from South Sudan, led by the special envoy, Mayiik Ayii Deng.

The entourage carried a message that the President of South Sudan, H. E. Salva Kiir, sent to his Equatoguinean counterpart.

Attended by the Deputy Minister for External Security at the Head of State’s Office, Juan Bibang Nchuchuma, the meeting also dealt with the situation in South Sudan, following the national dialogue that has just taken place in the country.

The envoy declared before the press his satisfaction with the audience and with the special attentions that H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo pays to the problems of the continent in order to achieve lasting peace.
