Prime Minister receives Vice-President of Episcopal Conference

The Vice-President of the Episcopal Conference of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Monsignor Miguel A�ngel Nguema, accompanied by Monsignor Juan Domingo Baka, Bishop of Mongomo, were received in audience by the Prime Minister of the Government, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue.

On 5th September, the Prelates were received, at the Presidency of the Government in Djibloho, by the Prime Minister, to whom they delivered a message from the President of the Episcopal Conference.

The contents of the message were not revealed, but are thought to be for the benefit of State-Church relations.

Minutes after receiving the message, Obama Asue proposed a calendar of activities to organise in collaboration with a sub-commission to be set up for the purpose.

This was the first meeting held in Djibloho between members of the Government and the Ecclesiastics.
