Vice-President of the Republic arrives in China

With the aim of reaffirming the ties of friendship between the two peoples, on 10th July the Vice-President of the Republic, H. E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, arrived in the People’s Republic of China, at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, H. E. Li Yuan Chao.

The Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with Defence and State Security, was received by a court of honour at Beijing International Airport, led by Zang Ming, Vice-Minister for Foreign Relations, and by the Equatoguinean diplomatic corps, led by the Equatorial Guinea Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador, German Ekua Sima Abaga.

Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue and Li Yuan Chao will strengthen the ties of cooperation with the signing of important agreements of mutual interest for Equatorial Guinea and China.

On this State visit the Vice-President will be accompanied by various heads of ministerial departments.
