Vice-President of the Republic has audiences in Beijing

The delegation led by the Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with National Defence and State Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, has held a series of audiences with various commissions of entrepreneurs from the People’s Republic of China, interested in investing in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

The bilateral relations between Equatorial Guinea and the People’s Republic of China have been further strengthened by the visit by Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue to Beijing. His stay began with a very busy work schedule, featuring seven courtesy audiences in various areas of work.

They included the companies China State, construction Engineering Corporation, CSCEC, Startimes, CEMEC, and Gzhouba, among others.

Furthermore, the Vice-President received the Equatorial Guinea Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador, German Ekua Sima Abaga, and our country’s Honorary Consul in Hong Kong, in addition to directors from the company China Road Bridge Corporation.

At these receptions, the business leaders declared their interest in carrying out work or investing in sectors such as construction, communications, audio-visuals and renewable energy.

One of the significant aspects defended by the Vice-President was the need for all companies setting up in our country to boost the value of Equatoguinean professionals in order to respect national labour.

The entrepreneurs expressed their satisfaction with the words from Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, and thanked the Equatoguinean Government for these audiences, in which the ambassador Ekua Sima was also present, among other members of the Executive in charge of national administration sectors.
