Women’s national team to take part in CAN Ghana 2018

Essam Ahmed, General Secretary of the African Football Confederation, signed the letter reporting that the CAF emergency committee decided, during a meeting held on 30th and 31st July, to lift the suspension of the senior national women’s team of the Equatoguinean Football Federation, so that they can take part in the Ghana 2018 African Cup of Nations. RE: CAF emergency committee decision

Mr. General Secretary:

We are pleased to inform you that the CAF Emergency Committee decided, during a meeting held on 30th and 31st July 2017, in Morocco, to grant a “Pardon” to the Equatoguinean Football Federation regarding the suspension of the senior national women’s team.

As a consequence, the senior national women’s team from the Equatoguinean Football Federation will be able to take part in the upcoming Ghana 2018 African Cup of Nations women’s championship.
