24th Annual Week for Petroleum and Gas in Africa

The Minister for Mines and Hydrocarbons, Gabriel Mbega Obiang Lima, leading a delegation from our country, is taking part in the Annual Week fro Petroleum and Gas, which began on 24th October at the International Conventions Centre in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa.

This four-day international event, dedicated to the exploration and production of petroleum and gas industry, provides information at a senior level regarding the perspectives regarding investments, surface opportunities, exploration and production developments, technological innovations, industrial strategies, and the forecasts for the next few years.

The meeting brings together governments, oil companies, agencies with licences and corporate chiefs.

At the largest exploration and development event established in Africa, Gabriel Mbega Obiang Lima, Minister for Mines, is going to present the positive perspectives for investment in Equatorial Guinea, with the aim of attracting more investment to the sector. He will also speak about exploration, production, technological innovations, industrial strategies, and perspectives for the next few years, and the legislative environment within the market in Equatorial Guinea.

The sessions are moderated by top experts from the world market and experts from Africa, among them speakers, ministers, government officials, managing directors of large companies, and independent players in the exploration and production sectors, together with other sector experts and leaders.
