The second day of the month of April, the evangelical and pentecostal churches of Equatorial Guinea will celebrate the National Prayer Day of Worship throughout the country.
he Ministry for Justice, Worship, and Penitentiary Institutions reported to www.guineaecuatorialpres.com that the 2nd April celebration, National Prayer Day of Worship, will take place from 9 to 12 at all stadiums in the country, with the aim of “repentance and the conversion of the people of Equatorial Guinea”.
At the event, the second of its kind to be held in our country – the first was in 2016- the pastors will also pray for the “peace and political stability of the nation”, and for the “governors, authorities, solidarity, economic growth and the creation of employment”.
The programme of prayer will include, in addition, “young people, teenagers and children”, and it will protest “against the spirit of delinquency, corruption, witchcraft, spells, the occult, and the spirit of false prophets and pastors, which affect the nation, and the spirit of sexual immorality and alcoholism”.
Ten pastors will take part at the event in Malabo.
