The Business Confederation of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) is meeting from 12th to 22nd December in Portugal, for an Executive Board meeting at which a delegation from the Bioko Chamber of Commerce, led by its president, Gregorio Boho Camo, will take part.
The CE-CPLP is an organisation which has as its goal the development and cooperation of businesses within the CPLP. Its mission is to create a route for investment for member countries, promoting cooperation between Portuguese-speaking institutions.
This meeting will cover, among other matters, the start-up of the Institute of Product Certification, which is to be created in Equatorial Guinea in the month of February 2017, together with the training of Equatorial Guinea human resources to operate this institution.
The main aim of the confederation is to facilitate and strengthen trade relations between business associations and institutions in the member countries, and to increase business, imports and exports in the economic areas of the community’s countries.
This trip by the delegation from the Bioko Chamber of Commerce is taking place within the context of the celebration of the Board Meeting of the Business Confederation of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), and the 5th Union of Exporters Forum from this linguistic community, which is taking place in Portugal.
