The President of the Republic, H. E. ObiangNguemaMbasogo, began the work schedule for his stay in Addis Abeba on Monday 17th June, granting two separate audiences to two delegations.
The first was the entourage made up of the Commissioner for Political Affairs from the African Union, MinataSamate, and CosmasChanda, high commissioner from the United Nations for refugees.
Each of the two presented pressing problems regarding refugees.
In addition, the head of State received the president of Ethiopian Airlines, ToweldeGuebremariam. The Ethiopian company, which maintains relations with Ceiba Intercontinental, providing logistical support and training, is one of the companies that runs commercial flights between Addis Abeba and Malabo on an uninterrupted daily basis.
The Head of State was accompanied by the ministers for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, SimeonOyonoEsonoAngue, External Security, Juan Antonio Bibang, together with the Equatorial Guinea Ambassador before the African Union, Crisantos Obama Ondo.
