Activities of Red Cross volunteers to mark 50th Anniversary of National Independence

On 24th September, the National Director for Lifesaving, Aid and Catastrophe, Dalmasio Bengono Kung, held a meeting with Red Cross volunteers, to whom he passed on the instructions to follow as the assistants of public organisations in support of the Ministry for Health and Social Welfare, in accordance with the various planned activities.

In accordance with the meeting with the Health Ministry, Dalmasio Bengono Kung identified the importance of meeting the volunteers to tell them what had been said, so that they will be able to carry out their functions when the time of the celebration arrives.

Furthermore, the national director told them about the collaboration of some hospitals, clinics and companies that have offered the ministry support during the event, such as the Hospital Loeri Comba, the company Noble Energy, the Mental Health Hospital, the DoAa Marta Clinic and the Red Cross, who have offered two ambulances, one of them medically equipped, and twenty-five volunteers who will work on 11th, 12th and 13th October in the various places where gatherings and expected, and the areas where guests are to be accommodated.
