These days, the Malabo International Airport is working to take extreme measures to prevent the disease, with the imminent influx of participants and supporters of the African Cup of Nations, CAN 2015.
In recent weeks, the Malabo airport staff, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, is carrying out the appropriate preparations to provide all the necessary preventive measures against Ebola during the matches of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2015).
Among these preparations are activities of continuous training for internal staff, especially nurses assigned to the aerodrome. Also, the material to be used during the arrival of visitors is being overseen.
Furthermore, healthcare staff from the Ministry cooperate in these control activities; opening, for example, the registration cards of passengers; taking their temperature and other actions.
The goal is for the CAN 2015 to take place peacefully and for everyone to be able to enjoy it.
