Adoption of Institutional Declaration in Senate

The Senate Plenary session, overseen by Teresa Efua Asangono, met on 12th April to adopt the Institutional Declaration after reviewing and checking the inclusion of observations made by senators during the draft study period. The document covers proposals for measures aimed at eradicating the wave of cases of violence currently being recorded in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

Following the debates which arose during the verification of all the proposals for amendments presented by senators in order to adapt and correct the text, and many ending with votes to decide between the various conflicting opinions, the Senate Plenary session, through the spokespersons from the two parliamentary groups, finally adopted unanimously the definitive document.

Efua Asangono, satisfied with the quality of the work done, thanked all the senators for their excellent contribution.
