On 31st January, the Senate Table adopted the programme of activities to implement during the First Ordinary Period of Parliamentary Sessions 2019, after reviewing the minutes from the previous meeting, which took place on 28th of this month.
The Senate Table, overseen by its First vice-President, A�ngel Serafin Seriche Dougan Malabo, representing the president of the institution, Teresa Efua Asangono, adopted the working programme that will be implemented during the First Ordinary Period of parliamentary Sessions 2019, after reviewing and adopting the minutes from the previous session.
The programme covers various projects and proposals for laws, international conventions and agreements signed by the Republic of Equatorial Guinea with friendly countries and international organisations, and control sessions for the Government and appearances by other institutions and authorities before the plenary session of the commissions of the Upper Chamber.
In this meeting for the organisation and categorisation of the various documents that are now in the power of the Senate to be assigned to the commissions for treatment and study, there are also files containing complaints and requests, and the presentation of reports from senate delegations abroad.
During these parliamentary sessions they will also deal with any other business, and will conclude with petitions and requests, in accordance with the programme.
