Agreements from Rio Muni Chamber of Commerce

On 30th November, those responsible for the Official Rio Muni Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with their counterparts from the Republic of Chad and Senegal, held a joint meeting with Equatoguinean and foreign companies that operate in the city of Bata.

The backdrop to the meeting was to report to those present on the reason for the visit by the two neighbouring delegations, in relation to agricultural production and exportation.

For his part, the vice-president of the chamber, Blas Abeso Ovono, representing the president of the institution, reminded those present of the desire of the Equatoguinean Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, regarding the need for those responsible for the body to enter into cooperation agreements with other countries.

This reality is shown in the recent visit to Yamena, where authorities from this autonomous entity presented various national products from our country, while authorities from neighbouring countries presented what they wished to trade with other nations.

Along the same lines, the second vice-president from the Chad Chamber of Commerce, Hassan Ahmat Adam, pointed out that the aim of his visit to Equatorial Guinea was the ratification of an agreement signed between the two countries.

After the meeting, the delegations from Chad, Senegal, and members of the chamber, visited an exhibition of national products installed at the headquarters of the autonomous institution in Bata.
