Ambassador from Democratic People’s Republic of Korea meets Prime Minister

On the morning of 1st March, at the request of the accredited Ambassador from Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in our country, Tong Chol Ho, he had a meeting at the Presidency of the Government with the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue.

Tong Chol Ho delivered to the Prime Minister a message of congratulations from his North Korean counterpart, for his appointment at the head of the Equatoguinean Executive, and expressed the repulsion and condemnation of the Government and people of North Korea for the attempt at destabilisation suffered in Equatorial Guinea last 24th December. At the same time, he confirmed the strength of the support from his country in relations with the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, as nations fighting for peace in the world.

Obama Asue thanked the diplomat for his demonstration of solidarity and his greeting.

The meeting served to strengthen bilateral relations, within the principles of mutual respect and collaboration in the framework of resolutions by the United Nations Security Council.
