Ambassador in Brussels meets Centrist Democrat International

On Tuesday 25th September, the Equatorial Guinea Ambassador in Brussels, Carmelo Nvono-Nca, had an important meeting with the General Coordinator of the Centrist Democrat International (IDC-CDI), Alberto Ruiz Thierry, a powerful association made up of the most influential Christian Democrat and Christian Socialist political parties throughout the world.

During the meeting, the ambassador Nvono-Nca set out the latest advances in Equatorial Guinea, highlighting the results of foreign policy in palpable achievements, such as its election as Non-permanent Member of the UN Security Council, and the adoption of Equatorial Guinea as the home of the headquarters for South-South and Triangular Cooperation for the ACP Group.

Furthermore, the ambassador took the opportunity to explain to Ruiz Thierry the positive evolution generated as a result of the new policies of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), with Nvono-Nca stating that “we are ensuring that our national commitments are being recognised internationally”.
