Ambassador in Brussels received by International Criminal Court and OPCW

On Friday 2nd February, the Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Belgium, Carmelo Nvono-Nca, also accredited in the Low Countries, travelled to The Hague to hold an important meeting with the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Fatou Bensouda, with whom he covered matters regarding human rights, not only in Africa, but also on the rest of the planet.

Furthermore, the ambassador visited the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which also has its headquarters in the Dutch city, in order to meet Aamir Shouket, Head of the Cabinet of the director of the body.

This visit in in line with the fact that Equatorial Guinea is adopting a form commitment to the fight against the proliferation of chemical weapons.
