Carmelo Nvono-Nca, Equatorial Guinea Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, has sent Christmas greetings to the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the contents of which we are publishing in full.
Note to His Excellency Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Head of State, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, President Founder of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE)
H. E. Mr. President,
From the Equatorial Guinea Embassy before the Kingdom of Belgium, the Kingdom of the Low Countries, the Gran Duchy of Luxembourg, the Kingdom of Denmark, Republic of Turkey, the European institutions and the OPCW, we wish to pass on to Your Excellency, and to all your distinguished family, our best wishes as we approach the festive season. We hope you have a Merry Christmas and that the year that is about to commence brings you Prosperity, Peace and Well-being.
This is the ideal moment to take stock. 2017 has been a year of much work, difficult decisions and, above all, very good results, as we have come to expect in all the years H. E. has been at the head of our Nation. Thanks to your effort, commitment and talent, Equatorial Guinea has closed the year full of successes, crowned on an international level by the election of our country as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, and on a national level, with the success and external acceptance of the results of the latest municipal and legislative elections.
It is certain that 2018 will once again be tremendously demanding, but without doubt thanks to the efforts of H.E., and whose example we follow from this Diplomatic Mission, the rewards will come in the form of more growth, development, security and stability. From the Chancellery of the capital of Europe we wish to reaffirm our commitment to continue to make Equatorial Guinea a better country in 2018.
Through all this, I ask for God’s blessings of health, peace, harmony, happiness and well-being to reach Your Excellency, your family, and the entire people of Equatorial Guinea, in 2018.
Brussels, 18 December 2017.
Carmelo Nvono-Nca, Equatorial Guinea Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of the Low Countries, the Gran Duchy of Luxembourg, the Republic of Turkey, the European Communities, and the OPCW”.
