The accredited Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Ethiopia, Crisantos Obama Ondo met, on the morning of Friday 18th January, the accredited Ambassador from France to Ethiopia, Frederick Bontems.
This was the first meeting between the two diplomats, and it served as an opportunity to look at some cases from the United Nations Security Council.
In their conversations, the French diplomat set out to the Equatoguinean diplomat the posture of Paris on the obligatory financing of the A3, which are the three African non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.
The representatives from Malabo and Paris analysed exhaustively the essence of the text of the resolution through which the UN obliges States to provide funds.
Within this perspective, France, as a permanent member of this highest body and with a right to vote, has declared its interest in working in close collaboration with the Republic of Equatorial Guinea on questions of a bilateral and multilateral nature that affect the world in general, and the African continent in particular.
