Ambassador to Pakistan presents credentials before H. E. Mamnoon Hussain

The accredited Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, with residence in the People’s Republic of China, German Ekua Sima Abaga, has presented his credentials before the President, H. E. Mamnoon Hussain.

The ceremony took place on Tuesday 27th March, at the People’s Palace in Islamabad, where together with eight other ambassadors, German Ekua Sima established the principles of legal equality between States, in accordance with the structure of modern diplomacy, presenting the credentials sent by the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, to his counterpart, H. E. Mamnoon Hussain, granting full diplomatic accreditation as extraordinary plenipotentiary ambassador.

During the ceremony, the Equatoguinean diplomat thanked the Government of Pakistan for the warm welcome received in Islamabad, and passed on the H. E. Mamnoon Hussain the cordial greetings from H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

In addition, he pointed out that the excellent bilateral relations between the two peoples were favourable for the entry of Pakistani investors in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, as our country is a land of opportunities, looking towards sustainable development.

Ekua Sima also stressed that the Governments of Equatorial Guinea and Pakistan have the same principles, To always work towards a world of peace, friendship and dialogue between peoples”.

For his part, H. E. Mamnoon Hussain expressed his desire to see the participation by Pakistan in the development of the African continent grow, and set up closer cooperation between Equatorial Guinea and Pakistan.
