Ambassador to United States presents credentials before President of Nicaragua

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to the United States of America, Miguel Ntutumu Evuna Andeme, went to the presidential palace of Nicaragua on 20th May, where he presented his credentials before the head of State, H. E. Daniel Ortega, as concurrent ambassador with accreditation in the Latin American country.

The presentation ceremony for the credentials took place in the Casa de los Pueblos.

After having been invited in accordance with the order of protocol, the Equatoguinean diplomat, who was accompanied by his wife, and by the First Secretary from our Embassy in Washington, Roman Obama Ekua, passed on to the Nicaraguan leader greetings of peace and brotherhood sent by the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and declared the desire of Malabo to deepen the relations of friendship and cooperation with the Republic of Nicaragua.

He also used the occasion to pass on thanks for the solidarity shown by his Government to that of Equatorial Guinea.

It should be pointed out that the presentation of credentials by Ntutumu Evuna Andeme comes after the presentation in September 2018 before the Foreign Secretary of the Republic, Denis Moncada.
