Ambassador to US attends investiture of President of Costa Rica

A diplomatic delegation from our country in the United States, led by the ambassador, Miguel Ntutumu Evuna A�ndeme, accompanied by the Second Secretary, Luis Engono Ndong Grachov, attended the investiture ceremony for the new President of Costa Rica, H. E. Carlos Alvarado.

The Equatoguinean diplomat was invited by the Costa Rican Vice-President, Epsy Campbell Barr. The ceremony for the transfer of power to the new President took place in the city of San Jose, and after the ceremony, Miguel Ntutumu Evuna, in the name of the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, congratulated H.E. Carlos Alvarado and the Vice-President, Epsy Campbell Barr, taking into account the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation maintained between the two countries.

The two spoke about the way to boost bilateral collaboration, highlighting the position of Equatorial Guinea as the only Spanish-speaking country in Africa.
