Angolan Foreign minister Georges Chikoti is representing the Head of State, President Jose Eduardo do Santos, at the Africa-Arab Summit being held in Malabo, capital of Equatorial Guinea, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The summit, which is being co-organized by the African Union (AU) and the Arab League, will consider, among other matters, political developments, terrorism, financial developments, agriculture and food security and the Disaster and Immigration Intervention Fund.
The meeting will be attended by all member states of the AU and the Arab League.
The last Africa-Arab Summit took place in Kuwait in 2013.
