Approval of minutes and verdict by Permanent Commission on Finance

On 28th November, after the executive from the Ministry for Finance, the Economy and Planning, led by the minister, Lucas Abaga Nchama, appeared on two consecutive days before the Senate Permanent Commission on Finance, the Economy, Trade and Planning, the institution plenary session overseen by Teresa Efua Asangono approved the report on the execution of the General State Budgets to 30th June 2018, the Draft Law for the General State Budget for the 2019 period, and the budgets for public investment and for autonomous bodies and public State companies for 2019.

The act and verdict containing the report on the execution of the General State Budgets to 30th June 2018, the Draft Law for the General State Budget for the 2019 period, and the budgets for public investment and for autonomous bodies and public State companies for 2019, were adopted by the plenary session, following analysis under second reading.

Following a reading of these legal documents by the First and Second secretaries of the Senate Permanent Commission on Finance, the Economy, Trade and Planning, the senators Martin Crisanto Ebee Mba and Salvador Esono Nchama, with the President of the Senate, Teresa Efua Asangono, as moderator, opened a round of debates to review and check that the minutes reflected all those aspects pointed out during the study, together with the questions, answers ans recommendations gathered during the appearance of the executive of the Ministry for Finance.

The President of the Senate, following approval of this legal instrument, took the opportunity to make recommendations to the Government.
