An Equatoguinean delegation from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, led by the Deputy Minister, Salomon Nfa Ndong, arrived in China on 8th May, at the invitation of the Chinese Ministry for Cooperation and Investment, to attend a seminar on cultural diversity, which will be held in the cities of Beijing and Shanghai, and will last for 7 days.
On arrival at Beijing National Airport, the members of the Government were received by the Accredited Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to China, German Ekua Sima Abaga, with the body of diplomats from the mission, and representatives from the Chinese ministry.
The seminar is held with the aim that members from various countries on our continent and China can exchange cultures and present the cultural advantages offered by each country with regards to investment.
According to the programme of activities, during the celebration of the seminar, Salomon Nfa Ndong, accompanied by the ministerial adviser, Maria A�ngeles Miaga Bibang, will visit the museum and the National Theatre, The Imperial Theatre, the Great wall, and the Tower of the Eastern Pearl, among other tourist attractions.
The official visit by the Equatoguinean minister reflects the excellent relations of deep friendship, fruitful cooperation, and commitment to progress between Equatorial Guinea and China.
The relations are based on the common history of the two countries, and the noble aims shared by the two friendly peoples.
