After having been out of Equatorial Guinea for over 72 hours, on the official visit to the People’s Republic of China, where he attended the IX International Forum on Investment and Infrastructure Construction in the Special Administrative Region of Macao, the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Cooperation, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, returned to Malabo on 9th June.
On arrival at Malabo airport, where he was received by members of the Government, led by the First Vice Prime Minister, Charged with the Political Sector, Democracy and Minister of the Interior and Local Corporations, Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene; the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono; and the Minister General Secretary of the Presidency of the Government, Baltasar Esono Eworo, Obama Asue addressed TVGE journalists, and he explained the aims of the forum at which he had had the chance to speak, in representation of the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
Obama Asue declared the feeling of honour and pride he had experienced for having contributed towards the involvement of our country in a project of such scope, which will help Equatorial Guinea to continue to grow as a nation, and strengthen the links of cooperation with China.
The Prime Minister thanked the delegation that accompanied him on the trip, made up, among others, by the Minister for Public Works, Housing and Town Planning, Diosdado Nsue Medja, and the Vice-President of GE-Projects, Alejandro Nsue Micha.
In addition, he had had the support of our country’s diplomatic mission in China, led by the Ambassador, German Ekua Sima Abaga.
