The presidents, leaders of the various countries on the African continent, and representatives from international organisations, together with delegates from bodies making up the international community, have been gathering since the afternoon of 9th February in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia , to take part in the work of the thirty-second ordinary session of Heads of State and Governments of the African Union that, from 10th to 11th February, is taking place in Addis Abeba, the capital of this federal State.
The presidential plane from the Republic of Equatorial Guinea landed at Bole de Ababa International Airport, and was received by authorities and representatives from the African Union, and various executives from the Malabo Government.
AU Ordinary Session number 32 will focus on the search for mechanisms for the institution to self-finance its programmes and projects, without having to depend on other financing partners.
The forum takes place a week after the Equatoguinean President took over as acting president of the United Nations Security Council.
