On 17th December, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo arrived at Diori Hamani International Airport, on an official visit that will include the commemoration, on 18th December, of Niger’s National Day.
On 18th December, the second most important city in Niger, Zinder, will host figures from various nations, above all Africans, to take part in the solemn ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Niger.
The Equatoguinean President was met on arrival by the sound of the two national anthems and, led by his counterpart, H. E. Mahamadou Issoufu, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo shook the hands of authorities from constitutional bodies, members of the Government, leaders from Niamey, and members of the diplomatic corps, among other political and military figures.
H.E. Mahamadou Issoufu welcomed the members of the Government making up the Republic of Equatorial Guinea official delegation.
Minutes later, the two Presidents held a meeting in the VIP lounge in the presidential terminal.
