The President of Central Africa Republic, H. E. Faustin Archange Touadera, was awarded the Special Prize for Peace on 4th September, by the Organisation for World Peace and the Issa Hayatou International Foundation.
The event was attended by various guests, including the Third Secretary from the Republic of Equatorial Guinea Embassy in Central African Republic, Bienvenido Ndongo Micha.
The presentation of the top award from the Organisation for World Peace took place at the La Renacen Palace, in the presence of various guests.
The representative of the foundation highlighted the importance of peace and the work done by President Touadera to silence the weapons in Central African Republic, signing agreements with 14 armed groups, while the African representative from the Organisation for World Peace stressed that Touadera is the second person in the world to receive the award.
