The BDEAC (Central African States Development Bank) recently presented to young people the various sources of finance for SMEs, both in the Congo, and in the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC).
The member states in the subregion held the tenth edition of CEMAC Day, under the banner “Strengthening youth entrepreneurship as a guarantee for inclusive sustainable development in the CEMAC area”, the aim of which is to strengthen the capabilities of young people in the subregion, as a key to sustainable development.
During the celebration, the BDEAC presented the sources of financing for SMEs, and shared with the young people matters related to the interests regarding development in the sector; the previous requirements when seeking financing, and the support system for this type of business.
There was also a conference-debate in order to raise the awareness of young people regarding training programmes and the economic opportunities offered in Sub-Saharan Africa.
