Bilateral meetings between Vice-President and Presidents from Congo and South Sudan

The Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with National Defence and State Security, H. E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, had a full schedule on 29th January. After completing his speech at the headquarters of the African Union, at the XXX Conference of the institution that is being held in Addis Abeba, he held two meetings with Heads of State from the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan.

The two Presidents were received by the Vice-President of the Republic in the side rooms of the AU central headquarters. The first audience was held with H. E. Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of Congo, followed by H. E. Salva Kiir, President of South Sudan.

The meetings served as an occasion to strengthen the good bilateral relations that our country maintains with the two States.

Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, as representative of the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, concluded the meetings in the company of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Agapito Mba Mokuy, and Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Ethiopia, Simeon Oyono Esono Angue.
