During the President of the Republic’s stay in New York, at the head of our country’s delegation taking part in the 73rd United Nations General Assembly, meetings were held on 25th with the presidents of the Dominican Republic, Gambia and South Africa.
Three presidents from friendly countries and a Minister for Foreign Affairs were the figures the President of the republic, Head of State and Government, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo met at the headquarters of the United Nations, in New York, at various bilateral meetings.
In that way, the Equatoguinean leader met his counterparts Danilo Medina Sanchez, President of the Dominican Republic; Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa, and Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of Gambia. With each of them he exchanged impressions on the state of diplomatic relations between their countries and Equatorial Guinea.
Likewise, the Head of State also met the German Minister for Foreign Affairs, Heiko Maas, with whom he looked at relations between the two nations.
Both H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and his opposite numbers were accompanied by members of their respective delegations during these meetings.
