The New Stadium of Malabo has been the venue of the second match of Group D between Cameroon and Mali, which ended with a tie at one goal and with each team dominating half of the match.
The football analysts have called Group D the group of death and the results are demonstrating it: first match and the four components of the group with one point each.
The first half began with domination of the Mali team, but the goalkeeper of Cameroon Ondoa took care of stopping all the attempts by Mali, which showed their incapacity to make a single goal.
The second half began with domination by Cameroon; however, it was the Mali team that advanced the scoreboard. A fault kicked by the captain Keita was finished off by Yatabare, and Oyongo achieved the tying goal, ended the match.
