CAN 2015: Second day of Group B

On the day of January 22, the matches of the second day of Group B were played in the Stadium of Ebebiyin. In the first match, Tunisia beat Zambia by two goals to one and, in the second match, the teams of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Cape Verde tied at zero.

The team from Zambia had victory in its hand against Tunisia, after being ahead on the scoreboard from the minute 59 thanks to a goal from Mayuca, but incomprehensibly missed very clear occasions to close the result.

Tunisia, which had everything lost, managed to turn the scoreboard around with goals by Akaichi and Chikhaoui. Now the Tunisians lead the classification with four points and have it practically assured.

In the other match of Group B, the teams of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Cape Verde did not manage to make a single goal, and ended the match with the initial result of zero to zero.

The great star of the match was the goalkeeper from the Congo, Kibiada, which with several great stops in the final section of the match managed for his team to get an important point, in view of passing on to the quarterfinals.
