Malabo: Chargé d’Affaires of Belarus Vladislav Zhur recently engaged in a meeting with Simeon Oyono Esono Angue, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Diaspora of Equatorial Guinea. The meeting, held on July 29, 2025, focused on enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations.

According to African Press Organization, the discussions covered the current state of relations and identified specific measures to strengthen these ties further. A key point in the dialogue was the plan to inaugurate an Equatoguinean diplomatic mission in Minsk by 2026, marking a significant step in diplomatic engagement between Belarus and Equatorial Guinea.
