The presidential couple attended, along with the Christian faithful of Mongomo, the Christmas Mass that was held in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, to celebrate, as every year, the birth of Jesus Christ.
The religious ceremony was officiated by the Bishop of the Diocese of Ebebiyin, Juan Nsue Edjang, who, during his homily, stressed that the event of the birth of Jesus Christ is a moment of peace, freedom and love for others. The Bishop also said that while Jesus was born in Bethlehem, today he must be reborn, day after day, in the heart of men, and that way bring joy to our world.
The presidential couple is spending, as every year, the Christmas holidays at their residence in Mongomo, and attended this religious event, one of the most important of the year.
