After having taken place with total success in Malabo, the course for coordinators and middle managers of the ruling party was given in Bata. The Executive Chairwoman of the Women’s Organization and Deputy Secretary General of the PDGE, Maria Leonor Bula Epam Biribe, presented the certificates to the participants and asked them to put into practice the lessons learned, to transmit them in their communities and groups.
The Women’s Organization in the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE) organized a teaching tour with these seminars exclusively directed to the heads of the party, throughout the national territory. The courses began in the island region, and then went to the Continental Region. After being held in the provinces of Bioko Norte, Bioko Sur and Litoral, the tour continued in Centro Sur and Mongomo. Thus, the organization aims for female heads of the party in the whole nation to improve their capacities and skills in every way.
In these seminars, an especially practical course is taught, with the main aim of helping these women improve in social management and solve real problems in their areas. General administrative organization, economic, political, education, issues were reviewed. They also discussed the importance of political and social participation of women, and their crucial role in a developed and peaceful society. Also, they have addressed health and food issues: prevention, sexual diseases, safety issues, etc.
The Executive Chairwoman of the Women’s Organization, Maria Leonor Bula Epam Biribe, who is also the Deputy Secretary General of the PDGE, was present at the end of the course in Bata, where she was responsible for handing out the certificates to the participants. In addition to congratulating them, she also asked them to convey and implement what they learned in their communities and groups. There was also thanks for the First Lady of the Nation and Honorary Chairwoman of the National Organization of Women of the PDGE, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, and the Founding President, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, for their continued support of women.
After the session, Maria Leonor Bula Epam Biribe wished all women who participated in the course of Bata a good return to their respective homes.
