Following several days of intense work, the Ad-Hoc Senate Commission concluded the preliminary study and analysis work on the Draft General Road Transport Law.
The members of the commission, whose deliberations were moderated by the senator Demetrio Elo Ndong Nsefumu, studied and analysed for various days in minute detail the Draft Road Transport Law, in order to obtain a legislative text which responds to the needs and demands of the population.
During the debates the members of the commission presented their amendments and observations to the document, both in form and substance, in order to create a legal document which is agreed to, understandable and enriched.
The commission concluded its preliminary work with an analysis of the economic and financial situation of road transport services and auxiliary and complementary activities which included economic autonomy, the setting of tariffs, the functions of the travel agencies and their classification, and the location of vehicle leasing transport stations, among other questions.
