Condolences from Anatolio Ndong on death of Consul General in Douala

Anatolio Ndong Mba, Republic of Equatorial Guinea Ambassador Permanent Representative before the United Nations, has sent his condolences on the death of the Consul General in Douala, Pedro Engonga Nze Mikue. The entire contents are published below.

“To His Excellency Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic, Head of State and of the Government, and President Founder of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea,

Presidential Palace, Malabo.

Excellency, this permanent Equatorial Guinea mission before the United Nations has, with deep pain and anguish, received the sad news of the death of the former Consul General of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in Douala, Excellency Mr Pedro Engonga Nze Mikue, which occurred in the city of Bata.

In the name of and representing all diplomatic, technical and administrative personnel at this mission, and in my own name, I have the honour of expressing our most heartfelt condolences to H. E. Obiang Ngueme Mbasogo, to the people of Equatorial Guinea, and to the grieving family, for this irreparable loss.

His Excellency Mr Pedro Engonga Nze Mikue always stood out for his enormous capacity and willingness to work in the service of his country, qualities which he displayed up to the time of his sudden death.

From this diplomatic mission we wish with all our hearts that the Lord Almighty takes him into his kingdom.
