Congolese Foreign Minister receives Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Brazzaville

The Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Congo Brazzaville was received in audience on 11th March by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Jean Claude Gakosso.

The audience took place at the ministerial headquarters, where the Ambassador Samuel Ateba Owono Iynaga presented the plans of the diplomatic mission with regards to the State visit planned by the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

Ateba Owono asked the department for Foreign Affairs of the Government to set specific dates for the visit, as the two presidents have been strengthening bilateral relations for several decades.

For his part, the Congolese Foreign Minister declared his willingness to organise this State visit, and guaranteed that he would be informed in the near future.

Jean Claude Gakosso was also told of possible agreements that the Government of Equatorial Guinea wishes to sign during the visit.

During these meetings, the ambassador was accompanied by the Second Secretary from the diplomatic mission, Teodora Obono Ndong.
