The Equatorial Guinea Consul General in the Canaries (Spain), Emerenciana Mangue Obiang, has sent a message of congratulations to mark the 40th Anniversary of the Freedom Coup, on Saturday 3rd August, the full contents of which we are publishing with this article.
On commemorating the Fortieth Anniversary of the 3rd August, Armed Forces Day, a very special day for the people of Equatorial Guinea.
In my name and in the name of personnel from this mission, we express to H. E. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo our most fervent congratulations for this act that put an end to 11 years of sad memory and returned freedom to the people of Equatorial Guinea, while at the same time we extend our congratulations to all members of the Armed Forces and State Security Forces for their dedicated mission to ensure peace and stability in our country.
We ask Almighty God to bless and give a long life to His Excellency and his distinguished family.
