Malabo International Airport will soon have the new international terminal, which is in the final construction phase. The building covers 45,560 m�, and can accommodate up to 612 parking spaces, in addition to VIP areas and short-stay parking.
The latest inspection visit for the work was carried out by the Vice-President of the Republic, Charged with Defence and State Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, in the month of August. Accompanied by the Civil Aviation Head of Department and chiefs from Geproyectos, he visited the installations to see first hand the progress on the work.
The new terminal will have international transit areas and a new aircraft parking platform. It can accommodate class F aircraft, such as the Airbus 380, and features the latest technology to guarantee the safety and comfort of passengers.
