The organising committee of the United Nations (UN) Security Council, led by its president Pastor Micha Ondo Bile, and its vice-president, Domingo Mituy Edjang, held a meeting on Friday 5th January, to cover matters regarding the work to be done by Equatorial Guinea.
The vice-president of the committee, Domingo Mituy Edjang, oversaw the meeting in one of the rooms at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, with this being the second coordination meeting held since the recent appointment of our country as non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
“The responsibility of the committee has begun”, affirmed Mituy Edjang, who also asked members to deal speedily with matters within their remit.
“Security Council issues require a rapid response in decision-making”, added the vice-president of the committee.
