The month-long course, given by the director general and deputy from DATA EG, Filiberto Mba Obama and Celedonio Nguema Angono, is aimed at officials in the department for the Economy, Planning and Public Investment. The opening ceremony for the workshop was overseen by the General Secretary, Francisco Javier Bela Boya, on Tuesday 18th April.
Bela Boya oversaw the ceremony to start the course, the aim of which is to meet the training plan for all officials outlined for the institution.
This first phase, for which twenty officials have been selected, will last for approximately one month. The students will receive training in office computing; legal documentation and administration; treatment and creation of documents, and a module on communication and attention for the recipient.
The training course, managed by the ministry, and wholly financed by the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, is being given by the director general and deputy at DATA EG, Filiberto Mba Obama and Celedonio Nguema Angono, respectively.
According to Bela Boya, this is the start of a series of training courses designed by the department for the training of ministerial personnel, in order to boost their capacities. We once again welcome the interest shown by the Government in contributing towards the training of officials in the Central State Administration”.
